In Terry Memories
A few years ago while living in St. Louis Terry read an article in the paper about a man here in Webster Groves who had developmental problems and was a HUGE St. Louis Blues Hockey fan. This man rode his bike a long way to work every day and crossed over an old highway bridge. Terry went to this overpass and noticed this man in a very thin, worn jacket and the temperature was below freezing. Terry went and bought a very warm insulated St Louis Blues coat and stood at the overpass many mornings hoping to meet up with this man. Finally, it happened. The man didn’t know why Terry was approaching him with a jacket and was very nervous. Terry told the man “because it is cold and you deserve to be warm.” Terry had a Huge Heart. - Tess (Sister)

I loved Terry very much and was blessed to have him for my brother. He will always be special in my heart. All of the wonderful memories of him will be with me forever. Wishing him eternal peace. His memory will continue to shine like a star bright and endlessly. - Janie (Sister)

Terry was a Giver. In conversations, I felt it was important for him to share something he thought would be helpful in some sort of way. It may have been a recommendation for a restaurant or a place to visit, some earnest piece of advice, or maybe a compliment or joke to brighten the day. I could feel the caring and genuine effort to make the day a better one. Terry had a huge heart and a sensitive soul. - Jennifer (Sister)
